Questions about Australian charging costs, electricity plans or anything else on the site are welcome. If you have spotted a price that looks wrong, or a plan or network we have missed, that is the most useful message you can send.

What this site covers
This is the Australian site. Prices are in Australian dollars, distances in kilometres, and fuel comparisons use litres rather than gallons. Electricity plan data comes from the Australian Energy Regulator and covers New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, the ACT and Tasmania.
Western Australia and the Northern Territory run their own energy arrangements and are not in that dataset. We would rather say so than publish a national figure that is nothing of the sort, so if you are in Perth or Darwin the plan comparisons will not help you yet.
Some things here exist only on the Australian site because they exist only in Australia, novated leasing being the obvious one. If there is an Australian cost, rebate or charging arrangement we have not covered, tell us which state you are in and we will look at it.

Most questions we get are answered by one of these. The electricity plan pages are rebuilt from regulator data and carry the date they were last checked.

The contact form above is the way to reach us, and it reaches a real person rather than an automated inbox. Messages are read in the order they arrive, and we aim to reply to anything that needs a reply within a few working days. You do not need an account to send one.
If you are reporting a problem with a figure, including the page address and the number you expected makes it much faster to check and, where needed, correct.
What we can help with
- Corrections. If a default figure, a calculation or a vehicle specification is wrong, tell us which page and what you believe the right figure is. Corrections are the most useful message you can send.
- Questions about the numbers. Where a figure comes from is documented on the methodology page. If that page does not answer your question, ask.
- Commercial or editorial concerns. If something on the site looks like it was influenced by a commercial relationship, say so. Our position on that is on the disclosure page.
What we cannot help with
This site does not give financial, tax or purchasing advice, and cannot advise on your specific electricity plan, vehicle purchase or lease. The calculators are estimating tools; your retailer and your dealer hold the real numbers.
