Canberra's home electricity market runs through Evoenergy, with 11 retailers to choose from — a smaller field than the mainland capitals, but the spread between plans is still real money.
The short answer
498 plans serve Canberra. The cheapest, ActewAGL's evEnergy Saver with controlled load, charges a Hyundai Ioniq 5 Long Range overnight for $213.82 a year at 12,000km; the priciest plan on the same terms comes to $808.29 — a $594.47 difference.
Unlike the other capitals, the cheapest plan here isn't a dedicated EV tariff at 10.91 cents per kilowatt hour overnight: it comes with a free daily window an EV is unusually well placed to use.

Where charging at midday beats charging overnight
